What we do

Maya Zita is a singer/songwriter and upcoming artist who plans to bring a new alternative sound to the pop music industry. Originally trained as a classical musician, she uses her experiences performing opera, jazz, and musical theatre as inspiration to her style. Maya is a graduate of the highly recognized Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts and is currently studying at the prestigious Metalworks Institute. Since 2015, she has recorded with many professional producers such as Harrison Fine, Ben Pelchat and Daniel Zebarth at the Kensington Sound and other studios. Maya has bursted into the music scene with the release of her debut single, “Ouija Board” in January 2021 and has appeared on CTV Ottawa to perform the single live. Something that makes Maya special is that she is also a visual artist. She creates artwork and costumes for her music videos to give them a unique aesthetic and style. With many songs in the works, Maya wants to promote a message of self love and healing to her followers. This only marks the beginning of her career as an artist.
